One night on the Thames: London's New Year's Eve fireworks
The Mayor of London's New Year's Eve Fireworks is the capital's flagship celebration and one of the biggest NYE displays in the world. As Big Ben strikes midnight, more than ten minutes of fireworks erupt over the River Thames around the London Eye, set to music, in front of a crowd of around 100,000 people lining the Embankment and South Bank. It is a strictly ticketed, all-standing event: gates open from 8:00pm and close at 10:30pm, there is no re-entry once you are inside your zone, and there are no tickets on the night. Every year the official release sells out weeks in advance, which is exactly why a trusted resale route matters. Firework Tickets lists real, checked stock across all six viewing zones so you can still be on the river for midnight when the official sale is gone.
